Geochemical significance of lithium and boron isotopic heterogeneity evolving during the crystallization of granitic melts

Abstract We present Li and B isotope data for muscovite, biotite, feldspar + quartz separated from two-mica granite biotite samples the Huayang-Wulong suite (south Qinling, central China). Our demonstrate systematic differences in isotopic compositions among these minerals. results indicate that early-crystallizing minerals have lower ?7Li ?11B values than original melt residual melts late magmatic fluids may acquire anomalously high values. Furthermore, our imply (1) do not reflect composition of their source melt, (2) crystallized over a large segment magma evolution be isotopically zoned, (3) mineral-selective alteration by camouflages fluid, whose altered rather remaining rock.
